BYO Wedding Venue in the Swan Valley WA

Daniel and Sara’s Brookleigh Estate WA Wedding at the Secret Garden section of Brookleigh’s stunning property was absolutely delightful.

I met Dan and Sara for a laid-back pub drink to discuss their day, and I instantly knew their wedding was perfect for me. They envisioned their wedding under festoon lighting, with a cocktail-style atmosphere focused on mingling with guests and having a full-on party – and indeed, it was a party! They emphasized capturing natural moments over staged photos. Sara and Dan requested a quick location shoot around the property to maximise their time with guests.

The ceremony felt deeply personal and heartfelt. A highlight was the Bride’s sister playing the ukulele while Dan and Sara signed their wedding certificate. Her sister bravely fought back tears while singing, and Dan and Sara joined in to support her – it was incredibly touching!

On that warm evening, the couple and their family even ended up dancing in the secret garden fountain. (shhhh, let’s keep that our secret, as it may not have been allowed). It felt like a scene straight out of FRIENDS!

Brookleigh Estate stands out as one of the finest wedding venues in the Swan Valley. It offers BYO vendor options so you can completely customise your day. Brookleigh has the capacity to accommodate hundreds of guests depending on the chosen location on the grounds. From the Secret Garden, to the the lakeside terrace, The Chateau, The Stables, and this list goes on.
